Lack of agreement raises Huta Czestochowa bankruptcy fears
ISD Huta Czestochowa (HCz) could declare bankruptcy in July if talks fail between Greybull Capital and creditor banks over the British fund’s proposed takeover of the ailing Polish plate mill.
HCz suspended production indefinitely in May due to a shortage in working capital needed to purchase scrap and pig iron feedstock, and entered into talks for an acquisition by Greybull Capital (see Kallanish passim).
