Kyoei Steel to restart Yamaguchi Works
Japanese steelmaker Kyoei Steel plans to restart operation of the Yamaguchi Works in mid-November after a fire broke out at the plant on 11 October.
The fire was caused by a molten steel leak in the continuous caster of the steelmaking plant, which resulted in damage to the caster and surrounding power wires, Kallanish notes.
