Kuwait retail rebar margin slumps, Bahrain still good
Kuwait's retail rebar market profit margins have narrowed amidst a lull in sentiment. Retail rebar prices of United Arab Emirates-origin material are offered at KD 285-287/tonne ($928-934.5/t) whereas locally produced rebar is at KD 295/t ($960.6), delivered to the buyer's yard. However, buyers who prefer local rebar can conclude deals at KD 285-287/t, almost the same price as the local mill's quotes, Kallanish notes.
