Kunming Steel’s first-half steel output drops 16%
In the first half of 2022, Kunming Iron & Steel (Kungang) in Southwest China produced 3.32 million tonnes of crude steel, down 16% year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
The company also reported 1.02mt of coke production, 3.07mt of iron production, and 3.3mt of finished steel output at its board meeting on Tuesday.
