Kungang installs rebar, wire rod mills
Baowu Group's Yunnan subsidiary Kunming Iron & Steel (Kungang) has started the installation of its wire rod mill and rebar mill at its new relocated base, Kallanish notes.
This new wire rod line has a capacity of 450,000 tonnes/year. Meanwhile, the rebar line is able to produce 800,000 t/y of high-speed rebar products.
