Korean steel demand to defy bleak third-quarter outlook
South Korea’s apparent steel consumption is set to recover in the July-September quarter, according to the Posco Research Institute (Posri). End-use sectors remain sluggish, however, and any recovery will be limited, Kallanish notes.
