Korea strips Taigang of certification
The Korea Standards Association has decided that China’s Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Taigang) should be stripped of the Korea Standards (KS) certification for its construction steels. The association found several Korean and Chinese companies were selling substandard products to the Korean market but this is the first time it has stripped a Chinese company of its certification, Kallanish notes.
