Korean exports steadied by Chinese demand
According to data from South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Motie), its steel exports exceeded 2.6 million tonnes in June, down only -0.3% year-on-year, Kallanish notes. While iron and steel exports were down -21.9% y-o-y in May (see Kallanish passim).
