Korea drives Turkey’s November CR flats imports rise
Cold rolled flats imports in Turkey rose by 10.7% year-on-year to 101,654 tonnes in November as imports from South Korea surged. The average value/tonne of these imports decreased to $819 from $1,152 a year earlier, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The increase in imports follows a rise by 6% y-o-y to 96,988t in October after a drop of -19.6% to 91,455t in September.
