Korea demand sees Indian iron ore exports surge
Indian iron ore exports under HS code 260112 surged 28.5% on-year in September to 947,590 tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry data monitored by Kallanish.
This was mainly due to an almost four-fold rise in shipments to South Korea to 253,390t. Top market China took in 12.8% more at 641,380t, while Japanese intake rose 7% to 52,830t.
