Konsorcjum Stali raises Q3 shipments
Konsorcjum Stali (KS) managed to mitigate the effects of the steel price downward correction in the third quarter by keeping inventories low, the Polish distributor and fabricator says.
The Q3 correction followed the Q2 surge in prices that “… was speculative in character – not resulting from market demand,” KS says in a report seen by Kallanish. The firm’s Q3 shipments increased 4% on-year to 155,700 tonnes.
