Kogi Iron nears trial mining completion, steel investors cautious
Kogi Iron has resumed small-scale trial iron ore mining as part of its Agbaja iron ore project after it was delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic impact. It expects this to be completed by end-August.
The firm previously announced it had received a proposal from Tenova Pyromet South Africa to carry out the required steel test work and plant design engineering for the Agbaja Cast Steel project. This intends to produce billet in Nigeria to sell to domestic rolling mills.…
