Kobe Steel supplies low-emission steel to Toyota
Toyota Motor has begun using "Kobenable Steel", a low-CO2 blast furnace steel supplied by Kobelco, as a raw material for fastening bolts for its engine parts.
The automaker adopted "Kobenable Premier" which can reduce carbon emissions by 100%. It will be manufactured into special steel wire for automotive parts, Kallanish notes.
