Kirchhoff, H2 Green Steel sign €130m deal
Kirchhoff Automotive and Swedish start-up H2 Green Steel have signed a seven-year agreement for the delivery of near-zero-emissions steel from the projected mill in Boden, northern Sweden. The deal is worth €130 million ($141m), Kallanish understands.
“The message from our customers is clear: they want to see products with lower CO2 footprint,” says Michael Rank, vice president procurement at the German-based automotive supplier.
