Khouzestan Steel appoints new chief executive
Amin Ebrahimi has been appointed chief executive of Khouzestan Steel (KSC). Ebrahimi was previously ceo of Oxin Steel and replaces Ali Ghaleh Noei, who was only in the job since last December. The firm gave no reasoning for the change.
KSC, one of Oxin Steel’s main slab suppliers, acquired control of the heavy plate mill last year (see Kallanish passim). KSC has a 3.7 million tonnes/year crude steel capacity, producing billet and slab for the merchant market…
