Kenya demand helps keep Indian semis exports firm
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, slowed their growth in October but still rose 26% on-year to 459,148 tonnes, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry provisional data. They were however down -27% from September.
The average value of HS code 720719 billet exports was $399/tonne versus $395/t in October 2019 and $385/t in September 2020.
