Kazakhstan’s steel production decreases in October
Kazakhstan’s steelmakers decreased crude steel production in January-October, according to data from the national economy ministry’s statistical committee.
Output amounted to 3.54 million tonnes, down by 5.8% on-year, Kallanish notes. In October alone, output reached 280,815 tonnes, less by 17.3% on-year.
In September, Kazakhstan’s production was 400,078t, less by 3.1% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
