Kazakhstan’s steel output rebounds in February
Kazakhstan’s steelmakers increased crude steel production in February compared to the previous month, according to data from the national economy ministry’s statistical committee.
Output amounted to 293,107 tonnes, up 0.7% on-month and 10.8% more on-year, Kallanish notes. In January-February, steel production was at 585,978t, flat on-year.
