Kazakhstan’s steel output rebounds in June
Kazakhstan’s steelmakers increased crude steel production in June compared with the previous month, according to data from the national economy ministry’s statistical committee.
Output amounted to 408,933 tonnes, up 19% month-on-month and 22.3% higher year-on-year, Kallanish notes. In January-June, steel production was 2.09 million tonnes, up 6.3% on-year.
