Kazakhstan's 2022 steel production decreases, state support promised

Kazakhstan’s steelmakers decreased crude steel production in 2022, according to data from the national economy ministry’s statistical committee. Output amounted to 4.13 million tonnes, down by 8.5% on-year, Kallanish notes. In December alone, output reached 285,391 tonnes, less by 25.7% on-year.
