Kazakhstan to extend scrap export ban
Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development will extend the ban on the export of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap and waste from the country, Kallanish notes.
According to a ministry document, the ban has been prolonged by six months. It covers exports from the territory of Kazakhstan by all types of transport of scrap and non-ferrous metal waste, as well as used lead batteries, waste and scrap batteries.
