Kazakhstan reduces steel production in January-May

Kazakhstan’s steelmakers reduced crude steel production in January-May, show data from the country’s economy ministry statistical committee. Output amounted to 1.46 million tonnes, down by -39% on-year, Kallanish notes. However, flat steel production increased by 13% to 945,200 tonnes.
