Kazakhstan reduced steel output in May

Kazakhstan’s steelmakers decreased crude steel production in May, according to data from the national economy ministry’s statistical committee. Output amounted to 341,785 tonnes, down by 1.4% on-year, Kallanish notes. It also was a decrease from April, when output reached 358,944t.
