Kazakhstan inaugurates Karagandy ferroalloy plant
A new ferrosilicon plant has been commissioned in Kazakh Karaganda, by the Kazakh YDD Corp, Kallanish learns from the local government.
The $94 million plant is set to produce 180,000 tonnes of FeSi, which will be exported to Russia, Turkey, South Korea, European Union and the USA, while ramping up output to the nameplate 240,000t capacity in the meantime.
