Kazakhstan begins China joint venture pipe plant construction

Asia Steel Pipe Corp. will begin construction of a pipe plant in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in the second quarter of 2020, says the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan. The unit is being constructed by China’s PetroChina Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe (Baoji Pipe).
