Severstal’s Karelsky Okatysh mine trials cyclic flow complex
Russian steelmaker and miner Severstal’s Karelsky Okatysh iron ore unit has put into pilot operation its cyclic flow technology complex (CPT) in the Central Pit, Kallanish notes.
The CPT complex is the largest project in the history of the enterprise, set up with the help of state support in the form of tax benefits, the enterprise claims. The total length of ore conveyors is 2,500 meters.
