Kardemir's nine-month bottom line surges on higher sales
Turkey's Kardemir posted a jump in net profit in January-September thanks to increased shipments at higher prices, Kallanish learns from the integrated long steelmaker's nine-month results' presentation.
Consolidated nine-month revenue surged 79.6% year-on-year to TRY 2.82 billion ($727 million). Operating profit went up 171% to TRY 309m, and net profit zoomed to TRY 180m from TRY 11m a year ago.
