Kardemir’s billet sales remain low amid high prices
Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir has increased its domestic pig iron, billet, and bloom prices while decreasing all finished products prices, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker has decreased its 12-32mm diameter rebar list price for its home market by TRY 73/t to TRY 2,610/tonne ($444/t) ex-works.
The price of 12-18mm dia round bar has been decreased by TRY 73/t to TRY 2,627/t.
