Kardemir unexpectedly opens sales
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar, wire rod and billet in its domestic market on 25 December. This took market participants by surprise, Kallanish notes.
Prices of 12-32mm diameter rebar for the domestic market are up by TRY 630/tonne ($83.4) from its previous price list issued on 25 November to TRY 4,790/t ($634).
