Kardemir to export 30,000 railway wheels
Kardemir says it has signed multiple contracts to export 30,000 units of railway wheels.
The Turkish steelmaker manufactures freight, passenger, light rail systems and locomotive wheels, and completed a series of certification processes in 2021. It has now signed production agreements for approximately 30,000 units for the EU, as well as Middle East and North African countries. The production of the European order has already started.
