Kardemir to decrease second-quarter sales
Kardemir plans to sell a higher share of semi-finished product than rebar again in the second quarter of 2020 as it did in the first quarter. Overall Q2 sales, however, are projected to decrease by -11.5% compared to the Q1 target, to 602,100 tonnes.
The Turkish integrated steelmaker plans to sell 112,500t of rebar and 121,600t of wire rod, unchanged on Q1. Sections, including rail, sales are expected to remain unchanged at 107,000t.
