Kardemir sets new domestic rebar, billet prices
Turkish integrated long steelmaker Kardemir has adjusted its domestic rebar prices and has reopened its billet order book after a long break, Kallanish notes.
Kardemir's 12-32mm and 12-18mm diameter rebar prices currently are TRY 1,693/tonne ($457/t) and TRY 1,710/t, effective 5 April, down by TRY 66/t from the previous, 15 March price list. This follows a hike by a total of TRY 118/t for each product in March.
