Kardemir quickly sells out large rebar, rod tonnage
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for wire rod and rebar in its domestic market on 5 May, Kallanish notes.
Prices of 12-32mm diameter rebar for the domestic market were increased by TRY 450/tonne ($54/t) from the previous rebar price list issued on 28 April to TRY 5,575/t ($668/t).
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod increased by TRY 560/t ($67) from their previous price list issued on 7 April to TRY 6,150-6,405/t.
