Kardemir sells large billet volume at higher prices
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for billet in its domestic market on 19 October, Kallanish notes.
150mm square, 6-12m-long billet prices were increased by $95/tonne from the previous price list issued on 28 September to $715-720/t.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
Kardemir closed sales after selling almost 80,000 tonnes of billet in its domestic market on Tuesday.
