Kardemir reduces numerous product prices, cheaper scrap booked
Kardemir has reduced its 12-32mm diameter rebar price for the domestic market by TRY 73/tonne ($13) to TRY 2,551/t ($464) ex-works, excluding 18% VAT.
The price of 12-18mm dia round bar has also been reduced by TRY 73/t to TRY 2,568/t.
Prices of 5.5-32mm dia wire rod have been slashed TRY 140/t to TRY 2,750-2,830/t.
Pig iron prices have been lowered TRY 60/t to TRY 2,020-2,230/t.
Billet and bloom prices, however, remain at TRY 2,351-2,530/t and TRY 2,91…
