Kardemir ready to restart concast mill after repair
Turkey's Kardemir had to halt rebar production for a week due to problems at the continuous casting mill but is ready to restart production again, the integrated long steelmaker tells Kallanish.
"We had to stop production at the mill in the evening of 21 July due to a problem with the legs of the mill's furnace," a company official says. Repairs are done and production at the mill will start on 28 July, he adds.
