Kardemir raises wire rod prices
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for wire rod in its domestic market on 15 February, Kallanish notes.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod increased to $805-855/tonne from $785-835/t in the previous price list issued on 1 February.
Kardemir is selling 10-20mm diameter deformed wire rod at $825/t.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT. The exchange rate stood on Tuesday at 13.66 lira/$1.
