Kardemir raises rod prices in domestic market
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for wire rod in its domestic market on 25 May, Kallanish notes.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod increased by TRY 730/t ($86.6) from their previous price list issued on 5 May to TRY 6,880-7,135/t.
Deformed wire rod has also been increased by TRY 730/t to TRY 7,005/t.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
The exchange rate stood on Tuesday at 8.429 lira per dollar.
