Kardemir raises domestic rebar prices
Turkey's Kardemir has re-opened its domestic rebar sales at higher prices, reflecting the depreciation of the lira, while billet sales are closed, notes Kallanish.
The integrated long steelmaker's 12-32mm and 12-18mm diameter rebar prices are now offered at TRY 2,030/tonne ($525/t) and TRY 2,047/t respectively, effective 7 November. This is up by TRY 93/t over the previous, 18-October price list.
