Kardemir raises billet prices, sales fall
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for billet on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
150mm square billet was increased by $5/tonne to $540-555/t ex-works, excluding 20% VAT. This is compared to the previous list issued on 27 May.
Kardemir kept sales open until the end of the day. Although exact sales volume was not confirmed, it is thought to have remained at well below previous sales of 70,000-80,000 tonnes.
