Kardemir projects reduced sales, higher rebar share

Kardemir plans to increase the share of rebar and decrease the share of semi-finished product in second-quarter sales versus the first quarter. Overall Q2 sales are projected to decline -6% compared to the Q1 target to 544,868 tonnes. The Turkish integrated steelmaker is targeting rebar sales of 161,784t and billet and bloom sales of 156,965t in Q2 versus sales targets of 116,950t and 255,750t respectively for Q1.
