Kardemir plans increased billet, rod, reduced rebar sales
Kardemir plans to sell 275,190 tonnes of billet in the third quarter, up 11% from the sales projected for Q2, the integrated Turkish steelmaker says in a stock exchange filing seen by Kallanish.
Rebar sales in Q3, however, are forecast at 111,350t, down -21% from Q2. This will be offset by a forecasted 0.5% growth in sections sales to 104,590t, and a 16% rise in wire rod sales to 104,000t.
