Kardemir bags wire rod sales shortly after opening
Kardemir opened domestic wire rod sales on Tuesday after a long break, Kallanish learns from the Turkish integrated steel producer. The previous wire rod sales round was on 27 October.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod rose to TRY 5,020-5,225/tonne ($642-669) ex-works, excluding 18% VAT, from TRY 4,430-4,650/t in the previous price list.
The deformed wire rod price was increased to TRY 5,105/t ex-works, excluding VAT, from TRY 4,410/t.
