Kardemir opens wire rod sales in domestic market
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for wire rod in its domestic market on 7 October, Kallanish notes.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod increased to $775-825/tonne from $760-800/t in their previous price list issued on 26 August.
Deformed wire rod has been increased by $15/t to $795/t.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
The exchange rate stood on Thursday at 8.88 lira per dollar.
