Kardemir opens rebar, billet sales at higher prices
Turkey's Kardemir has re-opened its domestic rebar and billet sales with a slight increase in prices, Kallanish learns from the integrated long steelmaker's price list update.
Kardemir's 12-32mm ribbed rebar and 12-18mm round rebar prices have risen to TRY 2,195/tonne ($577/t), or by TRY 25/t each, and TRY 2,212/t, effective 19 January. A week earlier, rebar prices were reduced by TRY 58/t.
