Kardemir lowers wire rod prices
Kardemir has lowered its wire rod prices for the domestic market by TRY 135/tonne ($24.6) to TRY 2,690/tonne ($491) for 5.5mm diameter SAE 1006 grade product and TRY 2,670/t for 5.5mm SAE 1008-1010 grade, Kallanish learns from the Turkish steelmaker.
6-32mm dia SAE 1006 and 6-32mm dia SAE 1008-1010 grade wire rod have been lowered by the same amount to TRY 2,650/t and TRY 2,630/t respectively.
The firm’s rebar and round bar prices remain at TRY 2,466/t …
