Kardemir lifts domestic rebar/billet prices, closes billet sales
Turkish integrated long steelmaker Kardemir has raised its domestic rebar and billet prices, reflecting rising raw material prices and good domestic demand, notes Kallanish.
Billet sales were opened at TRY 1,970-2,050/tonne ($510-$530/t) and were closed early on the same day, the company informs.
Kardemir's 12-32mm rebar and 12-18mm round bar prices are now offered at TRY 2,200/t ($569/t) and TRY 2,217/t respectively, effective 7 December. This…
