Kardemir lifts domestic rebar prices, billet sales closed
Turkey's Kardemir has re-opened its domestic rebar sales at increased prices as the lira depreciated further this week and scrap import prices are on a rising trend, notes Kallanish.
The integrated long steelmaker's 12-32mm and 12-18mm diameter rebar prices are now offered at TRY 2,160/tonne ($550/t) and TRY 2,177/t respectively, effective 23 November. This is up by TRY 130/t over the previous price list of 7 November.
