Kardemir decreases prices in new list
Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir has decreased its steel product prices in the Turkish domestic market, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker reduced its 12-32mm diameter rebar list price for its home market by TRY 37/tonne to TRY 2,640/t ($428.5/t) ex-works. In dollar terms this has declined from the previous price of $433/t. The price of 12-18mm diameter round bar was also dropped by TRY 37/t to TRY 2,657/t.
