Kardemir sells out within hours despite price surge
Kardemir has increased its 12-32mm diameter rebar prices for the domestic market by TRY 290/tonne ($40) from its previous price list issued on 21 July to TRY 3,280/t ($450), Kallanish learns from the Turkish steelmaker.
The price of 12-18mm diameter round bar was also hiked by TRY 290/t to TRY 3,297/t.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have risen by TRY 410/t to TRY 3,630-3,785/t.
